Description
Elevator Electric Cables | 0.5mm, 0.75mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2.5mm, 4mm, 6mm Cables
Elevator electric cables are specially designed as traveling cables, providing a flexible and reliable connection between the elevator car and the control system while withstanding constant vertical movement. These cables are available in different cross-sectional sizes to meet varying electrical load requirements.
Cable Size Applications:
- 0.5mm² to 1.0mm²: Commonly used for control signals, communication systems, and sensors. These sizes are ideal for multi-core configurations in light-duty signal transmission.
- 1.5mm² to 2.5mm²: Typically used for lighting, ventilation systems, and low-power control circuits within the elevator.
- 4mm² to 6mm²: Designed for higher power applications, such as supplying main power to the elevator car or supporting heavy-duty equipment.
Core Specifications:
- Conductor: Multi-strand fine oxygen-free copper (Class 5) for enhanced flexibility and conductivity.
- Insulation: Special PVC compound resistant to abrasion, chemicals, and oil, ensuring durability in demanding environments.
- Voltage Rating: Generally 300/500V for smaller cores and up to 450/750V for larger cores.
- Temperature Range: Typically operates between -15°C and 70°C.
Available Cable Types:
- Flat Traveling Cable (TVVB): Designed with a flat, ribbon-like structure to prevent twisting and tangling, allowing smooth operation in narrow elevator shafts. Commonly available in multi-core options such as 12-core and 24-core.
- Round Traveling Cable: Offers balanced stress distribution during bending, improving durability. Some versions include integrated steel support wires, making them suitable for high-rise applications.
- Reinforced Traveling Cable: Used in installations with suspension lengths over 35 meters or speeds above 1.6 m/s. These cables often include galvanized steel wire ropes to handle additional tension and weight.
This range of elevator cables ensures safe, efficient, and long-lasting performance in both residential and commercial vertical transportation systems.
